My Business Philosophy

Most of my current clients have come from personal/professional referrals. They understand that my purpose in working with them is satisfying their immediate Real Estate need. I don't consider their home or home search as a potential source of other clients. I represent only their interests in a transaction. Although State law permits us to do so, David Jones Real Estate does not engage in Dual Agency.

The Company's Market Area

I've helped clients buy or sell homes in New Haven, Middlesex, Fairfield and New London Counties. Most of my transactions have been along the shoreline towns East of New Haven to the Connecticut River Valley. If I feel that I would not be your best advocate in a particular location, I would connect you with a great agent in any specific market area in the State of Connecticut.

My Real Estate Background

I became a licensed salesperson in 1988 when my mother established her own firm, Pat Jones Real Estate, in Madison, CT. After her retirement I was an agent and office manager with one of the state's largest firms. Since 2003 David Jones Real Estate has been located in Guilford on the Boston Post Road (US Route 1). In addition to Brokerage Services I teach Real Estate and make public presentations about the market/industry.

I am proud to be active in REALTOR Association Leadership on the local, state and nationsal leve. I've served as President of the Middlesex-Shoreline Association and the statewide CT Multiple Listing Service. Current positions with the Connecticut Association of REALTORS include Regional Vice President and Chair of the Issues Advocacy Committee. With the National Association of Realtors I've served on the Board of Directors, and its Land Use, Property Rights and Environment Committee.
